In the remote, sun soaked Pennsylvanian countryside, Ned Larson - a retired professor and reclusive inventor is killed in an explosion at his home. Soon after, small-time investigative journalist Eve Pretson (Emmanuelle Vaugier – CSI: NY, Smallville, One Tree Hill) crawls from the wreckage of a burnt out car nearby. She suffers a complete loss of memory - with no recollection of who she is or anything that preceded the accident. Weak and disorientated, she stops at a gas station for help, but instead witnesses the murder of a local mechanic. How are these events connected? In a desperate search for answers, Eve pieces together the scattered fragments of her life, becoming ever more fearful of all she uncovers.

Exploring every possible lead, Eve finds a business card in her wallet belonging to motivational speaker, Harry Griggs (Anthony Lemke – The Last Templar, A Life Interrupted). Details of his next seminar are handwritten on the back. Can he tell her who she is? When she seeks him out at his hotel, he angrily rebukes her pleas for help, leaving her to come face to face with the two murderers from the gas station. Running for her life, the killers follow in hot pursuit. She sees Harry getting into his car and jumps in beside him as the men pull out their guns. Bewildered and terrified, the two make a frenzied escape.

Eve confides in Harry, beginning to learn something of the woman she was before the crash. As they talk - flashes of the past return to her, including the true nature of her profession. She discovers that Harry’s motivational seminars were next on her agenda of damning news exposés, explaining his hostility toward her. Forced together in extraordinary circumstances, the two find solace in each other - both lost souls who need rescuing from the person they had become.

With Harry’s help, Eve unearths an interview she conducted with Ned Larson shortly before his death. Finally she understands what his killers were so desperate to conceal. Now, Eve must intercept the material that led to the murder of two innocent men and prevent it from falling into the wrong hands. If she fails, she will be forever silenced and a world-changing phenomenon will be buried - together with all those that tried to expose it.
