Circle of Friends

A terrifying tale of murder, deceit and mystery, in which one woman investigates the untimely deaths of her old school friends. As a deadly truth unfolds, she must act quickly or she too will share their dismal fate.

It's the worst possible circumstances for a high school reunion, but the funeral of Celia Waters brings together her four best friends to celebrate her life. It's been years since young widower Maggie Dale (JULIE BENZ, Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) has been back to the small town of Maryland where she grew up, her jet-set lifestyle in New York doesn't afford much time off.

Trawling through the yearbook with Joan, Emily and Susan (VENUS TERZO, Da Vinci's Inquest), Maggie realises that a number of people from her class, including her late husband, have died young. Her morbid thoughts are dismissed by the other women, but Maggie can't let it lie. She goes to visit Harry (CHRIS KRAMER The Collector), her childhood sweetheart and Joan's brother, at the local TV station when he gets a call - another man from their class at school has died. A mere coincidence or something much more sinister? Maggie's determined to find a link between the growing list of deceased.

Despite their scepticism, and the reticence of the police, Maggie's friends help her with her investigations. Whilst clearing Celia's apartment, Maggie comes across a photo that includes five of the recently deceased and notes on all of them - had Celia noticed something suspicious as well?

Maggie tracks down her old classmates, but each time she arranges to meet with one of them, they end up dead. And when an attempt is made on her own life, she becomes desperate to uncover the missing piece of the puzzle. With only a few surviving classmates to help, Maggie must stay one step ahead of the game to unveil the killer's identity and put an end to the bloodshed before every last class member is eliminated.
