Returning to the family home was meant to be a new start for beautiful art dealer Alexandra Kent (KRISTY SWANSON,Bo und By Lies, Big Daddy). She's in the final stages of her divorce from Dan (CHARLES POWELL, Deadly Isolation, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within) and ready to face the demons of her past.

Twenty-four years earlier, Alexandra's disturbed mother, Eileen, was locked away in the Brighton Sanitarium. She'd murdered her sister and tried to drown the then 6 year old Alexandra. Back in the house, Alexandra starts having horrific visions of that fateful night. Facing her fears, Alex visits her mother and starts to get close to her doctor, Mike (DAVID KEELEY, The Manchurian Candidate, Earthquake In New York). Shortly after her visit though, Alex gets a call from the institution; Eileen is dead.

Alex's visions and nightmares become more and more graphic. Under the close care of Sam (CHRISTOPHER BONDY - Haven't We Met Before, The Day Regan Was Shot) her lifelong therapist, and her best friend Gina (MARIANNE FARLEY - Chasing Holden, The Warden) she tries to take control of her life. But after another black out, she wakes up face down in the pool, wrists slashed and Dan's dead body next to her. It's a worryingly familiar story.

Sam's decision to lock Alex away gives her plenty of thinking time and with Mike's help, she escapes the mental institution. Together, they try and piece together how Dan really died. All eyes are now on Sam.
