Power has invested in its global production, sales and distribution operation with the opening of two key territory offices in Miami and Singapore.
The presence of Power on the ground in the US and Asia gives the company greater flexibility in meeting client needs and forging new relationships as part of its commercial growth strategy and drive into new markets.
The Miami office is managed by Pepe Echegaray, Vice President of Sales and Distribution for LatAm, whilst the Singapore base is overseen by George Sakkalli, Vice President of Asian Sales and Distribution. Both report to WorldWide Sales President Chris Philip.
"In order to build on Power's impressive track record, we needed to demonstrate greater flexibility at a local level. This new structure allows us to continue to forge new relationships in key and developing territories and to quickly address and meet client needs," said Power founder and CEO Justin Bodle.
Power is already extending its reach with the signing of a batch of new deals with Artear in Argentina, Gammavision and Ecuavisa in Ecuador, Monte Carlo Television in Uruguay and a multi-territory deal with Televideo Services Inc.
Power's 13 part series, Crusoe co-produced with Muse and Moonlighting, will be aired in a Friday night primetime slot in the fall schedule of US network NBC. It is currently shooting in the UK, filming will move to South Africa and The Seychelles on the 30th June. The epic event series is an ambitious remake of Daniel Defoe's masterpiece novel starring Philip Winchester, Sean Bean, Sam Neill, and Anna Walton.
NBC meanwhile has also picked up the action thriller XIII: The Conspiracy, another title on Power's current slate starring Val Kilmer and Stehpen Dorff, and My Problem With Women, an adaptation of the Peruvian Telenovela which Power are executive producing alongside Justin Timberlake. Producers Reveille have secured a pilot script commitment from NBC. My Problem With Women is Power's first venture into comedy.
